Grayson Erhard is a singer / songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the small town of Del Norte, CO, USA known for his songs showcasing vocals accompanied by a unique style of tap/slap guitar playing. He is the youngest guitarist ever to be featured on one of the world's most prestigious guitar-focused record labels, CandyRat Records.

Growing up outside of a town with a population of 1800, Erhard experienced little distraction from developing his musicianship. His music communicates a message of self-sustainability, anxiety, love, and accomplishment. Early songs like "Tapestry" display a writing style where technical guitar performance is combined with metaphorical lyrics. However, after putting the guitar down to learn other instruments, a new love for simplicity and strong, direct messages developed in his music. His lyrics are a public journal spanning from positive, uplifting material to songs that reflect the challenges often faced by young adults in relationships, living conditions and the struggle for financial stability.

Erhard has an intense determination and D.I.Y mentality that stems from being raised by an Olympic runner and a dedicated mother. In response to career obstacles, he began singing to become an independent songwriter and programmed computer software to grow online followers. He has performed at venues ranging from 50,000 capacity stadiums to small, intimate clubs nationally and shared the stage or studio with artists such as Andy Mckee, Keith Moseley / String Cheese Incident, The Meat Puppets, Soul Asylum, Tribal Seeds, The Flobots, and Passafire.

Grayson doesn't just perform perfectly timed two-handed tapping in his music. His is a hybrid style of tapping, difficult fingerpicking, sliding, neck bending and percussive use of the guitar body, presented in lush compositions with compelling themes. The kicker with Grayson... I don't know how else to put this. He sings like a rock god! And I wouldn't use that phrase lightly.
